Semester Benchmark Test
This test will overview what we will discuss and learn over the course of the entire 2nd semester.
The test will be taken twice: once at the beginning of the semester and again at the end of the school year.
It is designed to show a measured amount of growth from the beginning of the semester until the end of the year.
Because students are not expected to know the material nor will they need to study for the first test; their grade for the first test will be an automatic "A" as a completion grade.
Part of each student's final grade will be a re-assessment of the exact same test.
***Test Date: Music Class during 1st week of Quarter 3.

Alexander Brown (or Music Brown as his students like to call him) has been involved in music for over 25 years. Born in Houston on February 14th, 1985, Alex grew up for most of his life in Dallas, TX and the areas surrounding it.
After getting his first guitar in 4th grade and learning Deep Purple’s popular old-time song “Smoke on the Water”, he quickly realized he had a true passion for all things music! He picked up trombone in 6th grade and quickly escalated to being a great High School Concert & Marching Band musician. During his college years,
Alex found a heart for leading worship in churches in any ministry from children’s, youth, and young adults to leading main services. After graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies, he continued to explore worship leading next to multiple famous Christian artists. Eventually, he would move to Flagstaff, AZ to take on the Worship Pastor position of a good friend's church.
Alex met his beautiful wife, Annie, in Flagstaff in 2014. They married in Phoenix on March 13th 2015 and moved to Denver, Colorado to accept positions at a church as the Worship Pastor and Children's Director respectively. After 4 years in the beautiful cold mountains, they moved back to Arizona where they both took on positions at different schools. Additionally, they re-connected with the same pastoral friends in Flagstaff where they make regular weekend trips to help them continue to grow Bridge Church. They are also currently in the process of launching a Bridge Church Phoenix Campus! @wearebridge
This is Alex's first year as a teacher, and, of course, being a Music Teacher is the greatest fit for him!
